Omega Plus 3+6+9

Omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids are unsaturated fatty acids. Among other things, they are important components of cell membranes and perform important functions in metabolism. A sufficient supply of omega-3 fatty acids and a favorable balance of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids are particularly important for health.

Omega Plus 3+6+9 contains the omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), the omega-6 fatty acids gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and linoleic acid, and the omega-9 fatty acid oleic acid. ALA and linoleic acid are polyunsaturated fatty acids that cannot be produced by the human body itself. They must therefore be obtained through food.

Omega Plus 3+6+9 provides important polyunsaturated fatty acids in a balanced ratio from purely plant-based sources such as linseed oil, sesame oil, and evening primrose oil from certified organic cultivation. Since unsaturated fatty acids are susceptible to oxidation and would therefore lose their effectiveness, vitamin E has been added to the product as an antioxidant.
