Iron Complex is a comprehensive combination preparation that effectively supports iron metabolism and thus blood formation in various ways.
The trace element iron is a key component of hemoglobin (the red blood pigment found in red blood cells). Hemoglobin enables the transport of oxygen from the lungs to the body's cells. An iron deficiency reduces the oxygen supply throughout the body, leading to fatigue and exhaustion, as well as reduced physical and mental performance.
The other micronutrients contained in the product support iron metabolism in various ways. Vitamin C, for example, promotes iron absorption, while copper contributes to normal iron transport. Vitamin A supports normal iron metabolism through various mechanisms. The trace element molybdenum is also said to improve iron availability, although this has not yet been conclusively proven.
