Glucosamine & Chondroitin Complex

Glucosamine and chondroitin are substances produced naturally by the body. Glucosamine is a compound formed from glucose and the amino acid glutamine, and serves as a building block for the production of glycosaminoglycans, amongst other things. These polysaccharides, which also include chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, have a high water-binding capacity and thus provide tissue with elasticity, moisture and stability.

Our Glucosamine & Chondroitin Complex is supplemented with the important organic sulphur compound MSM, the amino acid L-lysine and vitamins C, D3 and B12. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation, which is important for healthy cartilage and bone function. Vitamin D3 also contributes to the maintenance of healthy bones.

The Glucosamine and Chondroitin Complex now also contains eggshell membrane. The eggshell membrane, which lines the inside of the eggshell, contains a natural combination of nutrients such as glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulphate, various collagen fibres and many other proteins that are natural components of bones, ligaments, cartilage and tendons.
