Curcuma micellar

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) belongs to the ginger family and is also known as turmeric. It originates in Southeast Asia, where it is revered as a sacred plant and is a component of traditional Asian and Indian medicine. Turmeric contains over 200 bioactive molecules. The most important components of the plant are curcumin, a secondary plant substance, and other curcuminoids.

Curcumin has antioxidant and immune-boosting properties. Curcumin is also used to support healthy joints and bones, as well as digestive health.

Curcuma micellar is a liquid turmeric extract containing curcumin in a highly concentrated form. Due to its unique micellar form, the normally water-insoluble curcumin is encapsulated in a water-soluble layer (known as micelles). This encapsulation in micelles leads to increased absorption of the curcumin in the gastrointestinal tract and a significant increase in bioavailability.
