Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, has countless vital functions in the human body. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. As a cofactor for various enzymes, vitamin C plays a role in collagen formation. Collagen is the main fibrous component of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, and skin. Vitamin C also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
The amino acid lysine is one of the essential amino acids. Vitamin C and lysine cannot be produced by the body itself and must be obtained through food.
Our Lysine & Vitamin C Powder is a combination of L-lysine and vitamin C in powder form for liquid consumption. Each scoop contains approximately 2 g of vitamin C as sodium ascorbate and 2 g of lysine in its natural L-form. Lysine and vitamin C enhance each other's effects, and vitamin C is better absorbed by the body when taken simultaneously with lysine.
Dissolve 1 heaped measuring spoon (approx. 5.4 g) per day in a glass of water or juice.
