Vitamin D3 (500 IU)
Also called cholecalciferol, it is a precursor to the active vitamin D (calcitriol). It is produced in the skin through exposure to sunlight or can be absorbed through food. Vitamin D is needed for healthy growth and development of bones in children and plays a role in cell division.

- to reduce the risk of falls caused by postural instability and muscle weakness. Falls are a risk factor for bone fractures in men and women over 60 years of age.
