Omega-9 fatty acids (oleic acid)
A monounsaturated fatty acid belonging to the omega-9 fatty acid group. It can be produced by the body from saturated fatty acids. Replacing saturated fatty acids with monounsaturated and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids in the diet contributes to maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels.
