Ginger root
A plant species from the ginger genus. The root contains borneol and cineole, pungent substances (gingerols), as well as vitamin C and trace elements.
Ginger root has antioxidant properties and contributes to the normal function of the immune system. It supports healthy digestion and counteracts nausea. It also clears the airways and has an expectorant effect.
